Primary Management Group
The Primary Management Group is responsible for the day-to-day guidance and management of the RELIEF Centre.
Professor Henrietta Moore
Henrietta L. Moore is the Director of the Institute for Global Prosperity at UCL, where she also holds the Chair in Culture, Philosophy and Design. A distinguished social scientist, her current research examines sustainable global prosperity, wellbeing, and institutional change. Currently undertaking major research projects in the UK, Kenya, Ethiopia and Lebanon, her work adopts a multi-scalar approsach, investigating how communities, governments, NGOs, businesses and global institutions can work to develop and sustain communities in the face of environmental, economic and social pressures.
Dr Andres Vicente
Andres is the RELIEF Centre administrator. He has a background in basic scientific research and management, and holds a PhD from University College London in Cell and Developmental Biology. He supports and coordinates all teams and initiatives involved with RELIEF.
Ms. Rachel Saliba
Rachel is the Lebanon RELIEF coordinator. She has an MBA in Project and Operations Management and is pursuing a PhD in Organizational Leadership. Her responsibilities at RELIEF include providing administrative support to the Co-Investigators, organizing and coordinating workshops, events and conferences in Lebanon, as well as working closely with internal stakeholders and coordinating with RELIEF Centre in London.
Ms. Annelise Andersen
Communications and Impact Officer
Annelise embeds public engagement in every aspect of RELIEF's work. Her responsibilities for RELIEF include devising events, publications and a community strategy, working with the research teams on how they engage stakeholders and communities, preparing the ground with national and international policy makers, and releasing main project findings at public events. Annelise has a background in public engagement, communications and the arts.
Dr Ala'a Shehabi
Ala'a is responsible for the Data Management Strategy and IP Protocols of the RELIEF Centre. She oversees and supports the collation, analysis, management and visualisation of research data, sharing and dissemination of data between researchers in the UK and Lebanon. She has a PhD in Econometrics from Imperial College London and has worked in the modelling team at RAND Europe, and as a senior researcher at the Work Foundation, Lancaster University where she researched health needs of workers in Lebanon. She is also currently an ILO Migration Journalism Fellow.
